SWIFT wireless gateway recalled due to failure to activate in a fire

A wireless gateway that connects smoke detectors has been recalled because it may not activate in a fire.

 

The SWIFT wireless gateway was sold with fire alarm systems nationwide.

 

The units are a bridge between the alarm control panel and the detectors.  They are primary used in commercial buildings such as office buildings, hotels and apartment buildings.
