Surly Bikes is recalling 8-pack and 24-pack front bicycle racks because they can loosen and hit the front wheel, which poses a crash and injury hazard.
The racks were sold nationwide and online from December 2015 through September 2019.

Surly has received 15 reports of racks failing, including seven reports of serious injuries and three reports of minor injuries. The serious injuries include a fractured vertebra.
If you have the bike rack stop using it and contact the shop where you bought it for a free repair.
