Crate and Barrel recalls plastic holiday milk bottles due to laceration hazard

Crate and Barrel is recalling more than 15,000 plastic milk bottles due to a laceration hazard.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the plastic straw that comes with Crate and Barrel’s Holiday Bear Acrylic Milk Bottle can crack and break, possibly cutting you. No injuries have been reported.

The recalled milk bottles were sold at Crate and Barrel retail stores nationwide and online from August 2018 through November 2018 for about $5.

If you have one of these bottles you are urged to stop using it and contact Crate and Barrel to receive a full refund. You can contact the company at 800-451-8217 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. CT Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. CT Saturday through Sunday.
