The Florida Consumer Action Network is releasing its toy warnings for young children.
“Our researchers went out looking for dangerous toys again this year,” said Florida Consumer Action Network Director Susan McGrath.
The study mentions toys that create privacy concerns like the “My Friend Cayla” doll.
"The doll has an unsecured Bluetooth connection that does require a password to connect, a stranger could connect and access your child’s doll,” said McGrath.
Another concern are the popular water bomb balloons. Some moms fear a child could inhale the balloons and then choke.
Mom, Ashley Perry, said she found the warnings helpful for when she starts buying for children this holiday season.
"I never realized that when you see some of the items that look kind of big and you wouldn’t think that a child could swallow,” said Perry.
