5,682 pounds of salad products recalled by Florida-based company

More than 5,000 pounds of salad products containing chicken are being recalled from several states including Florida.
  
The Florida-based company GHSE, LLC, that makes “Trader Jose's Mexicali Inspired Salad With Chili Seasoned Chicken” says its product contains wheat, and they did not let consumers know.
   
This only applies to the salads with best by dates between May 18 and July 3, 2016.

The products under recall have establishment number “EST. P-45781” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and southern Virginia.                         

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.
Consumers with food safety questions can "Ask Karen," the FSIS virtual representative available 24 hours a day at AskKaren.gov.

Also, consumers can call the USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline 1-888-MPHotline (1-888-674-6854) is available in English and Spanish and can be reached from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Eastern Time) Monday through Friday.
