If you have ever wanted to know what it is like to ride in a self-driving car, now may be your chance.
State Senator Jeff Brandes, The Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority and SAE International are bringing a self-driving car provided by Perrone Robotics to the Tampa Bay area.
Demo rides will be offered on a closed portion of the Selmon Expressway from May 9 to 11.
The self-driving car event is open to the public, but you must sign up to participate.
