Joe Incorvia has always led an active lifestyle.
"I average five miles a day I use a fitbit," said Incorvia.
But his family would have never guessed how active he wanted to be on his 96th birthday. Incorvia wanted to go ziplining.
"I got a phone call. He said, 'do you think I'm too old to zip line,' I said hell yes. I hung up the phone and started calling the brothers saying dad wants to zipline lets make it happen," said Rick Incorvia.
Joe and his children met Saturday afternoon at Empower Adventures in Oldsmar. He ziplined and did all the obstacle courses.
"You get a certain euphoria, you are moving pretty fast and you are very high up," said Incorvia.
Joe attributes his longevity to healthy eating, staying active, and setting goals.
He plans to go indoor skydiving on his 97th birthday.
"I've learned that if you set a goal you can do a lot of things, you just have to make your mind up that you want to do it," said Incorvia.
