Friday, March 23

Disney on Ice

When: March 22-25
Where: Amalie Arena at 401 Channelside Drive, Tampa

Info: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy set the stage for a star-studded talent extravaganza as Disney On Ice presents Reach For The Stars in downtown Tampa! This unforgettable family experience runs March 22-25 at Amalie Arena. Tickets start at $18. 

 

Star Wars and the Power of Costume

When: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. 
Where: Museum of Fine Arts - St. Petersburg at  255 Beach Drive NE, St. Petersburg

Info: The force is strong at the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Pete! Star Wars and the Power of Costume gives you a chance to see over 60 original costumes used during the first seven films of the saga. The exhibition features some of the world’s most recognized cinematic costumes, including Darth Vader, Queen Amidala, Chewbacca, X-Wing Pilots, and Droids, like C-3PO and R2-D2. Check out this amazing showcase of cinematic history from now until April 1. 

 

Gasparilla International Film Festival

Bark in the Park

Info: The 31st Annual Bark in the Park is a family and dog friendly walk and pet festival featuring music, food trucks, beer, adoptables, vendors, doggie costume contests and a 1-mile stroll along the river. 

Tampa Bay Chocolate Festival

When: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. 
Where: Sickles High School at 7950 Gunn Highway, Tampa

Info: Chocolate lovers, rejoice! The Tampa Bay Chocolate Fest will feature food trucks, trailers, tents and vendors showing off their savory and sweet chocolate creations. 

Tampa Beer & Brunch Festival 2018

When: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. 
Where: Cotanchobee Park 601 Old Water Street Downtown, Tampa

Tampa’s Pride Parade and Festival

When: 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Info: The 4th annual Tampa Pride Diversity Parade kicks off Saturday, March 24 in Ybor City! Tampa’s Pride celebration will be one of the first in the U.S. this year. The street festival and entertainment will begin at 9:45 a.m. with a special community tribute at 12 p.m. in front of Centro Ybor. Join the crowd along historic Ybor to cheer the floats and marching bands as the parade steps off at 1 p.m. along 7th Avenue and Nuccio Parkway. 

 

The Bay Area Gospel Music Festival

Primavera Music Festival

Info: The 2018 Primavera Music Festival returns to the Safety Harbor Waterfront Park for a full day of fun and family entertainment! Bring out the kids for one of Florida's largest Easter egg drops with over 60,000 Easter eggs. Afterwards, the Kid Zone featuring bounce houses, games, and a 90' ferris wheel will keep children entertained all afternoon. The live music lineup includes R.LUM.R, Ethan Parker, The Black Honkeys, The Groove Orient, and many more. Don't forget to enjoy plenty of food truck cuisine and craft beer!
