Lakeland Flying Tigers vs. Tampa Tarpons

Cinema on the Sand: The Meg

Where: 6850 Beach Plaza, St Pete Beach

Info: Enjoy a free screening of The Meg at Upham Beach! Come out and enjoy a night under the stars while watching a blockbuster hit being shown from the barge. You can float and watch the movie or bring a blanket and relax on the sand! The film is free to attend and Paradise Grille will be providing food and beverages for purchase.

Incredible Duck Race

Where: Curtis Hixon Park at 600 North Ashley Drive, Tampa

Info: The Kiwanis Club of Tampa will race 15,000+ rubber ducks down the Hillsborough River on August 24. The first three ducks to cross the finish line will win amazing cash prizes! First place is $5,000, second place is $1,000 and third place is $500. The Incredible Duck Race is a free event in Curtis Hixon Park with family-friendly music, food, and activities all leading up to the big race. Ducks can be adopted at TampaDuckRace.com for $5 per duck.
