TAMPA, Fla. - Tampa was recently ranked as one of the best cities in the country to raise a family!
According to Homes.com, Tampa was rated as the No. 8 best family-friendly city in America.
The top-25 metropolitan areas in the U.S. were ranked based on crime rate, cost of living, availability of child care services, average commute times, school (K-12) quality, and park acreage per capita.
Each of these factors that were chosen can contribute to both a family's quality of life and a child’s development.
The top 10 cities each earned high marks in nearly all the factors analyzed. Tampa received a score of 35.50/50.
