Carnival is launching a brand-new ship in 2020, the first ever cruise ship to have an onboard roller coaster.
Carnival launched a ship back in 1972 called the TSS Mardi Gras. The new ship will pay homage to the first one in a fashion that shouts 'fun!' at the top of its lungs, the cruiseline says.
Aside from being the first ship to feature a roller coaster on board, it will also be the first cruise ship to be powered by clean-burning liquefied natural gas.
But back to the roller coaster: "Bolt" will offer views 187 feet above sea level. Check out the virtual simulation above ^^
The new ship sets sail from Port Canaveral in 2020.
