LAKELAND, Fla. - The city of Lakeland was recently rated America’s ‘Best Dog-Friendly Small City’ by National Geographic!
According to Nat Geo, Lakeland was noted for having quality pet stores, pet groomers, dog-friendly restaurants and pet sitting services.

The ranking was published in National Geographic Traveler’s “30 Cities on the Rise”, where results were based on a unique set of metrics, population size and expert picks from its editors.
Annapolis, Maryland, Pensacola, Florida and Reno, Nevada were also listed as great dog-friendly cities.
