Tuesday, March 21 (3/21) is World Down Syndrome Day. It is a special day to create awareness and honor people who have the unique triplication of the 21st chromosome that causes Down Syndrome.

Organizers of the day want to get people talking about World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) by getting people to wear #LotsOfSocks.

If you want to support and create awareness, you are asked to wear some brightly colored socks, printed socks, on sock, even three socks for three chromosomes. Make someone ask you about your socks so that you can tell them all about WDSD.

Be sure to share your photos on social media with the hashtags, #LOTSOFSOCKS and #wdsd17.
