Pet of the week: Sweet 'Charity' seeks a family

Posted
and last updated

Our pet of the week is a sweet girl learning to live, love and trust thanks to the great folks at Second Chance Friends.

Charity is an 18-month-old Pit Bull Terrier who now weighs 55 lbs. She showed up at her eventual foster mother’s door in Plant City on July 30, 2015. She was suffering from mange and was very underweight.

Her foster mom got in touch with Second Chance Friends who treated her conditions. Since then, Charity has become healthy and happy and is now ready to find her forever family.

Charity loves other dogs, is house-trained, knows basic commands and loves to be with her people. She would make a great companion for her lucky future family.

If you are interested in adopting Charity or any of the animals up for adoption by Second Chance Friends, you can visit their website at www.secondchancefriends.org or call (813) 263-6450. Please leave your contact information (phone number and e-mail) so shelter workers can get in contact with you.
