ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — ABC Action News works with local shelters to find homes for pets through our weekly Pet of the Week segment.
This week we are featuring Harley from Pet Pal Animal Shelter. He is a mature Dachshund looking for a home where he can find lots of love and plenty of treats.

According to the American Kennel Club, hounds were traditionally used for their hunting skills, a trait they keep to this day as they love chasing small wildlife like squirrels or rabbits.
Shelter workers say 8-year-old Harley loves being outside, walks well on a leash and has very nice manners. He is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200.
