There are ways to make your Easter baskets for your loved ones a little healthier in 2019. We'll show you how in the latest "Tully's How-To."

Don't leave out candy but look for more health-conscious choices, like dark chocolate. You want to buy bars or chocolate covered items with at least 70% cacao which has been shown in some studies to promote heart health and reduce the risk of diabetes. Check out these Lindt Milk Chocolate Gold Bunnies, they're the perfect amount of chocolate to fill that craving.

Check out some recipes to make other healthy treats for the basket here.

Granola bars aren't bad, most of them have at least one healthy ingredient like whole grain oats. Also slip in some bags of sugar free crackers and chips.

Also look to fill out your basket with things that aren’t edible, but still fun! Sidewalk chalk and crayons can fill the space as well as card games and even miniature/travel versions of your favorite board games. I found everything from Trouble to Connect Four as well as my personal favorite Yahtzee here.
