Need the perfect ingredients for this year's holiday feast?

The 24th Annual Farm Share Holiday Food Giveaway will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. today at Faith Baptist Church, 9230 Ridge Road in New port Richey. The giveaway provides fresh food donated by Florida farmers, as well as meats and other items, for all families in need.

The giveaway is sponsored by Pasco Tax Collector Mike Fasano, Supervisor of Elections Brian Corley, Property Appraiser Gary Joiner and Sheriff Chris Nocco. In addition to Farm Share, the event is made possible by donations from Publix, The Volunteer Way, Bear Creek Nursing & Rehab Center, Dayspring Academy, Ferman, TECO, Hyundai of New Port Richey, Land O'Lakes Moving and Transport and Lowe's.

Ham, potatoes, canned goods and candy canes are among additional foods donated to accompany the fresh produce donated by farmers.

"We are blessed to partner with so many generous individuals and organizations whose support make this giveaway possible," said Fasano. "When so many Floridians are hurting, it is wonderful to see our community come together to serve others."
