This month marks 80 years of serving up soft served ice cream for Dairy Queen, and to celebrate, they’re giving ice cream fans a seriously great deal.
Now through March 15, if you buy a Blizzard at regular price, you can get a second Blizzard of equal or lesser value for just 80 cents. The deal is available at participating locations nationwide and includes any of their 15 Blizzard flavors in any size.
Included in those 15 Blizzard flavors is Dairy Queen’s March Blizzard of the month, mint Oreo. Featuring a bright green mint color with Oreo pieces and creme de menthe, it is perfect for St. Patrick’s Day or just ushering in the start of spring.
Other Blizzard flavors include signature creations like chocolate chip cookie dough, turtle pecan, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, Oreo and M&M. You’ll also find some other limited-time-only flavors on the menu, like Heath caramel brownie, snickerdoodle and harvest berry pie.
Of course, you can mix and match flavors for the BOGO deal, so if you can’t decide between the new mint Oreo and a classic chocolate chip cookie dough, get both.
While this BOGO Blizzard deal is hard to ignore, you might have DQ on your mind for a completely different reason. They have a new treat on the menu that’s grabbing people’s attention — a blue cotton candy-flavored dipped cone.
The bloggers behind Snack Gator snagged a cotton candy dipped cone at their local Dairy Queen, and they seem pretty excited about it, writing on Instagram, “SO GOOD!”
And let’s not forget that you can still get a Shamrock Shake at McDonald’s right now. They even debuted a new flavor this year — the Oreo Shamrock McFlurry.
March is such a great time for those of us who love ice cream! And if there’s one thing I like even better than ice cream, it’s getting it at a discount.
Will you be heading to Dairy Queen before this BOGO deal ends on March 15?
