TAMPA, Fla. — The 2019 Florida State Fair looks to fill more than 400 seasonal and part-time positions for the upcoming state fair, one of the largest events in Florida.

Positions available include admission sellers, ticket scanners, greeters, guest services, décor assistants, phone operators and more. Jobs will start between mid-January and go through mid-February. Pay rates will range between $9.25 and $25 per hour plus fair time benefits including branded apparel, admission and ride arm bands.

“The Florida State Fair is looking for enthusiastic individuals for both part-time and seasonal positions. Between our exhibits, family living competitions, delicious food and much more, we attract over 500,000 people in our twelve days. We wouldn’t be able to give our guests the experience they’ve come to expect without our dedicated team and staff,” says Cheryl Flood, Executive Director at the Florida State Fair Authority.

Positions available include admission sellers, ticket scanners, greeters, guest services, décor assistants, phone operators and more. Jobs will start between mid-January and go through mid-February. Shifts and hours are varied. Applicants must be available to work flexible hours including, but not limited to, on-call, late nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays during the Fair. The Florida State Fair will be hosted at the Florida State Fairgrounds from February 7-18, 2019.
