The USA swim team just released a follow up to their 2012 viral video and the results are pretty epic.
In 2012, the team sang along to Carly Rae Jepsen's hit song, "Call Me Maybe" and the video instantly went viral. The video has been viewed over 13 million times. Fans of the Olympians have been asking for a sequel and they finally got it a day before the Opening Ceremonies in Rio.
The new video is titled "2016 USA Olympic Swim Team Carpool Karaoke" and takes place in Atlanta. It starts with a flashback of sorts when you hear the first few notes to "Call Me Maybe" until the girls skip to the next song.
The most decorated Olympian of all time, Michael Phelps is joined by Missy Franklin and the rest of the 2016 team as they sing and dance to popular songs in the car. A few of them are seen riding along in style and wear their suits and swim caps during the ride. Even a couple of them dress up as lobsters throughout the video. Either way, its very entertaining to watch the team have some fun before they compete in the games in the next few days.
