Museum Day Live! is an annual celebration of boundless curiosity hosted by Smithsonian magazine, and offers free museum access at select locations.
More than 1,000 museums are participating in this national initiative happening Saturday Sept. 23.
About 20 museums in the Tampa Bay area are participating, including the Ringling Museum of Sarasota, the Tampa Museum of Art and the Florida Holocaust Museum among others.

Bring your ticket to the museum Saturday and you and a guest will be admitted free of charge.
