Tampa Pride 2017 returns to Ybor City for its third year this Saturday.

The Pride celebration will be one of the first in the U.S. this year. The organization says there will be 80% more booths this year from last year. Additional stages and entertainment have also been added.

The street festival and entertainment will begin at 10:00 a.m., with a special Pulse tribute at 12:00 p.m. on 7th Ave. in front of Centro Ybor. The theme for Pride this year is "Community Super Heroes."

Grand Marshals for the event this year are former Hillsborough County Commissioner Kevin Beckner and local Community Leader Joey Brooks. The celebrity Grand Marshal is gay country/pop singer Steve Grand.

TRAFFIC 

Portions of Nuccio Parkway and 7th Avenue will be closed for the Tampa Pride Parade and Festival in Ybor City on March 25th, 2017. Both directions of 7th Avenue from Nebraska Avenue to 21st Street as well as both directions of Nuccio Parkway from Nebraska Avenue to 8th Avenue will be closed for the festivities from approximately 8:00am to 6:00pm on Saturday, 3/25/17 . Please use caution when traveling in the area and use the suggested alternate routes to avoid congestion.
