Passover 2017: Where to celebrate

Passover, 2017 begins Monday, April 10 and runs through April 18. If you're looking for places and things to do to celebrate the holiday, check out these Bay area events.

5 Star gourmet Seder with Rabbi Mendy & Dina

Executive Chef Jim Rice will be featured in this event on the first Passover night, April 10. It's at the Bryan Glazer Family JCC at 522 N. Howard Ave. in Tampa. The cover charge is $40 for adults, $36 for young adults, $25 for students and children. Find out more here.

The Greater Seder presents "The Sound of Moses."

Come and enjoy the country's biggest, longest running and perhaps only musical comedy Seder. This year's theme is a loosely based parody of  "The Sound of Music". The musical comedy will contain all the important elements of the Haggadah with the dinner afterwards.

It will be held at the Bryan Glazer Family JCC at 522 N. Howard Ave. in Tampa. It's happening on the 2nd night of Passover, Tuesday April 11 with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the Seder starting at 7:00 p.m.
