A new American Idol has been crowned, and auditions are already open for next year's season.
20-year-old Maddie Poppe of Clarksville, IA is 2018's American Idol.
She beat out her fellow Top 2 contestant Caleb Lee Hutchinson Monday night, just minutes after they let everyone know they were a couple.
Poppe auditioned with the song "Rainbow Connection" and performed it again live during the American Idol finale with Kermit the Frog.
It was Maddie Poppe this year, but next year it could be you!
