Teddy now a post-tropical cyclone

MIAMI — Teddy is now a post-tropical cyclone that is on track to reach parts of Canada, according to the National Hurricane Center (NHC).

According to NHC's 2 a.m. update, Teddy is 85 miles south of Halifax, Nova Scotia in Canada. Teddy is also packing 75 mph winds and is moving north-northeast at 18 mph, NHC says.

Teddy is also bringing "life-threatening rip currents" which is likely to impact parts to the Western Atlantic beaches over the next several days, NHC says.
