There are dozens of construction projects happening right now in the Bay Area. Below are the major projects that will have major closures for the week of Friday, October 20 through Saturday, October 28.

STATE ROAD 50
State Road 50 will be closed at I-75 between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Sunday through Tuesday (October 22 - 24) nights. All ramps will be open, but no traffic will be able to cross under I-75 on SR 50. Traffic will be detoured onto the interstate to the next interchange and then back onto the interstate in the other direction to exit at SR 50 and continue in the original travel direction.

EASTBOUND SR 50 DETOUR: Eastbound SR 50 traffic will be detoured onto southbound I-75 and use Exit 293 to CR 41. Drivers will turn right at the end of the ramp onto CR 41, cross over I-75, then turn left and enter northbound I-75 and use the northbound Exit 301 to SR 50.

WESTBOUND SR 50 DETOUR: Westbound SR 50 traffic will be detoured onto northbound I-75 and use Exit 309 (CR 476). Drivers will turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto CR 476, cross over I-75, then turn left and enter southbound I-75 and use the southbound Exit 301 to SR 50.

VETERANS EXPRESSWAY
Plan on a full closure of the Veterans Expressway southbound overnight from 8pm Wednesday, October 25 to 5am Thursday, October 26. DETOUR: Exit at Van Dyke, travel west to Gunn/Sheldon, south to Ehrlich, east to re-enter the Veterans. If you typically get on the Vets at Van Dyke, drivers are urged to use the Ehrlich entrance ramp instead
