Tiger Woods has committed to playing in the Valspar Championship in Palm Harbor next week.
It will be his first time participating in the event.

Woods said in his tweet he would play in the Arnold Palmer Invitational after that.
Jordan Speith and Rory McIlroy will also be playing.
Woods last participated in the Honda Classic last week and finished 12th.
In his career, Tiger has 79 PGA TOUR victories.
The Valspar open is next week, with practice Tuesday, the championship pro-am Wednesday, and the first round beginning Thursday. The final round is Sunday, March 11.
