Colombia and Venezuela to play international friendly at Raymond James Stadium

International soccer is returning to Raymond James Stadium.

The "beautiful game" comes back to Tampa on September 10, 2019 when the Colombia National Team plays the Venezuela National Team.

The "Partido de la Hermandad" (game of brotherhood) will be at 8 p.m. and tickets are available here.

The Colombian squad is led by Captain Radamel Falcao and features stars like James Rodriguez, Duvan Zapata and Juan Cuadrado. The Venezuelan team is led by Captain Tomas Rincon and forwards Josef Martinez and Salomon Rondon.

The match will serve as a tune up to prepare for the qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Both teams advanced from group play and are still in the Copa America tournament. Venezuela faces off against Argentina Friday at 3 p.m. and Colombia takes on Chile at 7 p.m.

Colombia last played at Ray J in 2018 when they defeated the United States.
