The Bolts ended game five of the playoffs with a 1-0 win against the Red Wings.
Thursday's game began with the Red Wings out shooting the Bolts 9-8 in the first period.
While the Red Wings still dominated the second period Ben Bishop put on a show registering fourteen saves. Three of those saves were breakaways.
Alex Killorn snapped the tie in the third period with 1 minute and 43 seconds left on the clock.
The Bolts now advance to the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
