A Tampa man is facing criminal charges after an apparent early morning snack run.

William Parish, 32, is charged with three counts of burglary after homeowners in Westchase spotted him in their yards.

Neighbors say Parish walked through a few yards, trying to break into homes near West Park Village around 4 a.m. Monday. He made it into a garage behind a home on Brompton Drive, taking some tools and pulling a frozen pizza out of the deep freeze. Then, deputies say, he walked to the outdoor kitchen and started drinking their wine coolers. That's when the homeowner spotted Parrish and asked him to leave.

Deputies say Parish then wandered to neighboring Seymour Way and got into a family's minivan and started rummaging through it. A Hillsborough County K-9 tracked his scent to that van, where he was arrested.

Neighbors tell ABC Action News they are grateful for the quick response of deputies and the stepped up patrols since the break-ins.
