VP Mike Pence visiting Orlando today

ORLANDO, Fla. — Vice President Mike Pence will make his way to Central Florida on Wednesday.

The Vice President will meet with Governor Ron DeSantis to discuss the ongoing phased reopening of Florida. Vice President Pence is expected to arrived at Orlando International Airport via Air Force Two at about 11:25 a.m.

He will then make his way to Rosen Shingle Creek for a roundtable discussion with Gov. DeSantis, local hospitality and tourism industry leaders at about 2:40 p.m.

At some point on Wednesday, Vice President Pence will donate personal protective equipment (PPE) to a nursing home in the Orlando area.

As of Monday, May 18, Florida is under "Full Phase 1" of Gov. DeSantis' plan to reopen Florida.
