ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County officials say they are investigating after a newborn was left at an apartment complex doorstep Saturday afternoon.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office said at 1:07 p.m., deputies responded to the Bella Vista Place Apartments at 2814 Silkwood Circle.

At 1:05 p.m., a newborn was found on a resident's doorstep. The resident then called 911.
