Search underway for escaped Florida inmate

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is searching for an inmate who escaped early Saturday morning.

Around 3 a.m., authorities say 22-year-old Micky Turner escaped from the Dinsmore Community Correctional Center after cutting of his ankle monitor. It was later found on his bed.

Turner was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and royal blue sweatpants with white stars on them. He was incarcerated for burglary.
