Navy to drop live bombs in Ocala National Forest on Saturday

OCALA, Fla. — The Naval Air Station Jacksonville is set to have live bombing take place on Saturday.

The bombing at the Pinecastle Range Complex was set to begin on Friday.

From 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturday, live bombs will be dropped in the Ocala National Forest.

During the bombing, wildlife may be temporarily displaced.

The naval base is asking people to use extra caution when driving through the Ocala National forest and surrounding areas.
