ORLANDO, Fla. — A deaf, pregnant woman and service dog were reportedly punched on a Frontier flight heading to Orlando from Colorado Springs.

Mathew Silvay and Hazel Ramirez have two children and Hazel is 20 weeks pregnant. They are both deaf and have a great dane service dog.

Timothy and Petrini Manley and their son Joshua were also on the flight. Petrini complained of being allergic to dogs.

When the aircraft landed the great dane stood up, taking up more space than Timothy felt it deserved, and punched it with a closed fist, making it yelp.

The deaf couple became very upset and began yelling at Timothy. Timothy then reportedly got in Mathew's face, and at some point Hazel was punched in the stomach and the two children were touched.

The couples continued to argue as the plane reached the gate, and a flight attendant called the police.

Two officers responded to the gate and collected statements from the parties involved. Mathew said he tackled Timothy to detain him until police arrived.

Everyone involved declined medical treatment. Hazel Ramirez does wish to prosecute and will testify in court, according to police documents.
