Disney World is just about an hour east of the Tampa Bay area and many will be making the trip this coming fall.
Foodies around the world are prepping for one of Disney's most popular events, The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.
This year is its 21st year and it is a record 62 days long, running from September 14th to November 14th. So you can expect hotels in the Disney area to be near capacity during this time.
To participate, all you need is a park ticket and a healthy appetite. Appetizer sized portions are located at the countries and carts strategically located throughout the park. These samples are priced between $4 and $8.
Of course there are beer and wine samples to go along with all of the food samples. They are priced from $3 to $6.
But wait, that's not all! In the Festival Center there are workshops and stores to purchase some of the samples you most enjoyed. There are also chefs from all over the globe giving demonstrations and teaching culinary classes.
You can also watch mixologists, bakers, and other professionals show you how to do what they do in the kitchen and or bar.
Feel free to visit the Disney website for a complete list of times and events.
ABC's "The Chew" will be taping a week's worth of shows during the Festival. From October 5 to 7 you can catch Mario Batali, Michael Symon, Carla Hall, Clinton Kelly and Daphne Oz at Walt Disney World Resort as they explore the festival for the Emmy-Award winning series. You can catch the taped shows on ABC from October 10 to October 14 at 1 p.m. EST.
