According to the Sebring Parkway Church of Christ, a father named Steve and his son Lance, who were members at their church, died when a 'Ride the Ducks' boat sank as a thunderstorm created thunderstorm conditions.
They were members of the Osceola Church of Christ, which is reportedly in Arkansas and does not refer to the Osceola County in Florida.
17 people were killed as the boat was caught in the middle of the storm.
The son Lance had just recently been baptized.
The church's post says Lance was the perfect example of humility and compassion, and he cared about everyone.
