A Delta flight that departed from Tampa International Airport made an emergency landing in Raleigh, North Carolina on Monday morning.
According to officials, the pilot reported one of the engines was on fire and extinguished in midair.
Delta Flight 2135 left Tampa at 7:44 a.m. bound for New York's LaGuardia Airport on a Boeing 717.
More than 100 people were on board.
The plane landed safely just after 9:30 a.m. at Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
Delta is getting another aircraft for passengers to continue their flight.
