ORLANDO, Fla. --- Pat Williams, co-founder of the Orlando Magic, announced an effort to bring an MLB team to Orlando.
Williams revealed the team would be named the Dreamers, according to the team's website. It will be named the Dreamers after the visionaries who helped develop the area, like Walt Disney and Arnold Palmer.
The plan was announced on Wednesday to get community support from Central Florida baseball fans. The plan is similar to the one he made in the 1980s to get the Orlando Magic started.
Williams is hoping the community will rally behind the MLB team by going to their website.
Those interested in the team will get ticket information before it goes public, according to the website.
