Amber Alert canceled: 3-year-old boy Fort Lauderdale boy found safe

UPDATE:

The Amber Alert issued for 3-year-old Lee Parrish has been canceled.

The case has been resolved, a Florida Department of Law Enforcement news release states.

ORIGINAL STORY:

A Florida Amber Alert has been issued for 3-year-old Lee Donte Parrish of Fort Lauderdale, who may be in the company of a 27-year-old man, authorities said.

Lee was last seen in the area of the 2400 block of West Sunrise Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale. He is black, 2-foot-6, with black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a green and gray striped hoody shirt with writing on it and blue boxer shorts. Lee was barefoot at the time.

The child may be in the company of William James Rogers. No information was released about the relationship between the two.

Rogers was described as a black man standing 5-foot-9, weighs 265 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes.

They may be traveling in a 2013 maroon or brown Ford Fusion, with Florida tag number GYXL63.

Florida Department of Law Enforcement officials are asking anyone with information about the 3-year-old's whereabouts to contact Broward County Sheriff's Office at (954) 476-4731 or dial 911.
