Deputies in Orange County are searching for a parent or parents of a newborn baby boy who was left on the back porch of an apartment on the morning of Friday, July 29.
A resident of the apartment at Buena Vista Point Apartments was walking by his porch when he heard the sound of a baby crying. He found the infant lying on a wicker chair and brought the child inside.
The newborn was hours old and was found wearing a diaper and a child's black t-shirt with a red Nike logo on it, wrapped in a brown fitted sheet.

Deputies say there due to the newborn being only hours old, there is a concern for the health and safety of the child's mother. She has likely not had proper medical treatment after labor and she may be suffering from complications related to child birth.
