If you use Westshore Boulevard to get to work, you may want to consider another route come summer.
Westshore from West Bay Way Drive to Beachway Drive will close from May 4 until July 2016 as part of a project called Watrous Canal Rehabilitation. The city contractor will be replacing the existing utilities and box culvert.
Beachway will close between Westshore and S. Roxmere Road. Pedestrians can access one side of Westshore during the project.
City officials recommend using alternative northbound and southbound routes to get around.
