Attention, drivers: A portion of Cypress Street from Howard to Armenia avenues closed on Monday, Dec. 12.
In addition, the westbound lane of Cypress from Howard to Armenia closed the same day, and will reopen by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 10, if weather allows.
The city contractor is installing a 12-inch water main along Cypress from Howard to Armenia.
The northbound left turn lane on Howard approaching Cypress will be closed during that time period.
The city recommends using alternative westbound routes to avoid traffic.
