Tampa Police investigating business burglaries

Tampa Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect that burglarized various businesses. 

An unknown suspect pried open a side door at Oh Whatever at 3612 Manhattan Avenue South Wednesday morning and stole checks before fleeing the scene, according to police.

The same suspect also attempted to enter Summer House Furniture at 3620 Manhattan Avenue South in Tampa. 

The suspect was captured on surveillance video and is described as a white male, late 20's to early 30's, approximately 6', slim to medium build, balding brown hair with long side burns and was dressed well.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the unknown suspect involved in these cases. 

Anyone with any information regarding the identity of the suspect and who wants to be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477), report anonymously online at www.crimestopperstb.com or send a mobile tip using the P3 Tips Mobile application.  Crime Stoppers must be contacted first in order to be eligible for a cash reward.
