UPDATE | Mr. Goodman has returned home and is with family

Tampa Police are searching for a missing 77-year-old, John Goodman.

Goodman is listed at 6 feet 2 inches and weighs 180 pounds. Police say Goodman uses a cane, pulls a briefcase on wheels, and was last seen dressed in an LSW olive green Polo shirt, black striped pants, and gray shoes.

Police say his day was scheduled: Goodman is picked up from West Lemon Street every day to be taken, by taxi, to a senior center on the 4100 block of W. Spruce St.; later, by taxi, he gets dropped off at an Adult Living Facility on the 2900 block of N. Boulevard, where he is picked up by a family member at the end of the day to be taken home.

Mr. Goodman's sister reported him missing when she went to the facility to pick him up but was told he never arrived. Police say the cab driver was told by Goodman he was meeting a friend for dinner.

The driver departed without seeing him enter the facility.

It has been almost 24 hours since anyone has seen Goodman and his family is concerned for his well-being. He's been diagnosed with Alzheimer's, type-2 diabetes, hypertension, depression and he needs his medication.

Anyone who sees John Goodman should contact Tampa Police at 813-231-6130.
