TAMPA, Fla. — A Tampa church is collecting donations to take to the Panhandle for victims of Hurricane Michael.

Radiant Church is accepting donations through Thursday at their South Dale Mabry location at 3938 S Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, Fl.

Pastor Aaron Burke tells ABC Action News he is from the Panhandle and he's been in contact with other churches to help provide relief.

"This storm happened so fast, they weren't able to prepare and get supplies and relief, so we thought why don't we gather a bunch of stuff and take a bunch of Uhauls down there," said Burke.

They are asking for water, non-perishable items, baby items, and anything that will help with immediate relief.

They are connecting with Convey of Hope and local churches on the ground. They hope to leave Friday morning.
