Tampa Bay Comic Con weekend is finally here! This three-day celebration is full of comic books, toys, cosplay, art, and just an amplitude of nerdy fun.

Many locals are excited to have an excuse to dress up like their favorite characters and others are eager to go people-watching, meet celebrities, watch panel discussions, or buy fan merchandise.

This year’s celebrity lineup is out of this world. Ian McDiarmid (Emperor Palpatine) and Ray Park (Darth Maul) will represent the “Star Wars” lineup. Jack Gleeson (Prince Joffrey) will represent “Game of Thrones.” And Charlie Cox
(Matt Murdock) and Elodie Yung (Elektra) will join from Netflix’s “Daredevil." That's not all.

The event starts 12 p.m. Friday and continues until 5 p.m. Sunday at the Tampa Convention Center, 333 S. Franklin St.

Admission is $30 to $40 for a single day, $60 for all three days, and free for children 12 and younger.
