Looking for some holiday fun in downtown Tampa?
Check out the following events:
-The City of Tampa'stree lighting ceremonywill be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2 at Curtis Hixon Park. The Buckhorn family will light the 30-foot tree at 7:50 p.m. Then, a free showing of "A Christmas Story" will be held.
-On Saturday, Dec. 3, the 35th Annual Santa Fest and Christmas Parade will be held at 11 a.m., featuring floats, dance troops, a marching band and Santa Claus. Parade begins on Madison and Pierce streets and turns north to Ashley Drive, ending at the park. Best view: Along Madison Street from Pierce to Tampa.
