State Representative Janet Cruz is set to host a job fair on Wednesday, August 3. Rep. Cruz wants to reduce unemployment in the Tampa Bay area.
"Though we are now several years removed from the depths of the Great Recession, far too many Floridians feel the pain and pressure of unemployment. I have made it my number one priority to help the people of my city find quality, good-paying jobs; and I am determined to continue to fight for my friends and neighbors," said Representative Cruz.
There will be multiple industries represented at the job fair on Wednesday. According to the press release, there will be opportunities for individuals in IT, healthcare, hospitality, financial services, and labor.
The event will be held at Higgins Hall located at 5225 North Himes Avenue in Tampa from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday August 3.
