An accident involving a gas tanker shut down all eastbound Interstate 4 lanes overnight.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a car and a gasoline tanker crashed just before 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night at mile mark 3, just east of the I-4 / Selmon Expressway Connector.
The tanker spilled approximately 600 gallons of gasoline onto the interstate. Troopers ordered all traffic to detour off of I-4 onto 22nd Street while a hazmat crew cleaned up the fuel spill.
